GFI Software, Charlotte, NC ¨ 2008 to 2011 International
independent software development company with 500 employees and $50M in
annual revenue producing computer network security software for the
small to medium enterprise sector. Director Tasked
by the CEO with making products better, enlarging company’s market
footprint, and increasing overall company value. Assembled team of 12
top IT network security experts that increased product value 400%+ in 6
months. Guided leadership in acquisition of 6 companies, and increased
number of products from 9 to 23.- Instrumental in raising
company value from $45M to $300M in less than 3 years, increasing
partner base from 4,500 to 30,000, in 40+ countries.

company funded by Microsoft and self-owned. Provided support for
Information Technology groups and associations, as well as interface and
communication to and from Microsoft, world-wide. A membership
organization with more than 3M members across 45 countries. Director Launched
and built company to one of the largest of its type in the world,
providing website hosting and information exchange to 6K+ groups
worldwide. Managed staff of 26 from 12 countries. Assisted Microsoft in
development of product launch strategies, enhancing Microsoft’s image
and footprint.

Microsoft product launches by from approximately 10K to over 350K; grew

Major Bank, Charlotte, NC ¨ 2001 to 2003 National banking institution. IT Project Manager The
bank was seeking a way to build an online financial application quickly
in order to secure a very lucrative contract. At that time, the
development cycle was too long to meet the deadline. I introduced them
to .Net technology and Rapid Application Development (RAD) strategies.
Led the teams in using the technology resulting in the first successful
use of .Net for a business application and won a very large contract
that would not have been possible without my leadership.
- Directed multiple Technology Projects including the 1st commercial
application of .Net in a business environment. Other projects included
internal web based applications utilizing a variety of software and
hardware technologies to provide a complete online sourcing and systems
management/integration solution based on management needs and
expectations.
- Accountable for all IT project management including database administration and management.
- Provided oversight to organizational changes in processes and
procedures involved in integrating new technologies in software
development and network hardware upgrades

from $11M to $55M in less than 6 months using new technologies;
developed and deployed applications and services.
